Somewhere on the Gaspésie coast, in a small deserted village, dwells the last loyalist. An old man, his dog, his pipe and a couple of dreams looking to resurface.

"Country Bumpkin" Jeff Rodgers is walking along a country road when The Chief picks him up in a little red convertible. Jeff is told he has been "under observation" and invited to accompany The Chief.
