Biography
Bai Xue is a Chinese director. She graduated from the Department of Directing (Feature Film) of Beijing Film Academy in 2007. In 2017, she participated in the 2nd CFDG China Youth Film Director Support Program (also known as the "Green Plan") hosted by the China Film Directors Association, being among the top five.

Studying in Hong Kong but living in Shenzhen, Peipei has spent 16 years in her life travelling between these two cities. To realize the dream of seeing snow in Japan with her bestie, Peipei joins a smuggling gang and uses her student identity to smuggle iPhones from Hong Kong to Mainland. Her family life and friendships begin to fall apart. The daily life of Peipei starts to get out of control.
The Crossing
70 year old Shen Yanhong (played by Yang Ziqiong) was sent to a nursing home by her son after falling seriously ill, and the house was also rented out by her son. In order to regain her life, she tried to make money but encountered obstacles everywhere. Just as she was about to give up, her talent in the Rubik's Cube was discovered by young Rubik's Cube coach Xiao Wu. One wants to make money and leave the nursing home, while the other wants to save the dying Rubik's Cube training class. The two hit it off and appeared on TV programs. From the beginning, she not only gained fame and fortune, attention, dignity, love, and initiative in life, but also brought vitality to the stagnant nursing home. She was not afraid of failure, fought against aging and prejudice, and arrived at the highest stage of the Rubik's Cube all the way. Finally, with her son's encouragement, she completed an extremely difficult challenge and won the Guinness World Record.

During the Spring Festival, a lively, gluttonous and mischievous puppy named Xiaobai gets lost amid the travel rush back home. Eager to find its way back, it keeps losing direction. On the way, Xiaobai chances upon Lin Wei (played by Huang Yao), a young woman spending the Chinese New Year alone and feeling a little lost inside. The two journey together, and gradually open their hearts to each other as they look after one another – Lin Wei helps Xiaobai search for its owner, and in return, Xiaobai heals Lin Wei's loneliness with its innocence and companionship, making her rediscover the warmth and softness of life. In the end, they not only help Xiaobai find its home, but Lin Wei also regains her inner peace and a sense of belonging along this journey.This is Apple's 2026 Spring Festival Film, shot entirely on iPhone 17 Pro.
