Biography
Ngoc Lan (born 1942), full name Phan Thi Ngoc Lan, is a Vietnamese film actress. In 1959, she was admitted to the first acting class at the Vietnam Film School, alongside Tra Giang, Lam Toi, The Anh, Kim Chi, Lich Du... She graduated in 1962 and was assigned to work at the Vietnam Feature Film Studio. In 1961, she was selected by director Pham Van Khoa to play the protagonist in the film Lua trung tuyen [Fire on the Middle Line], which became her most famous role.
