Chi Sadashivaiah

Mahishasura Mardini is a 1959 Indian Kannada-language film, directed and produced by B. S. Ranga. The film stars Rajkumar, V. Nagayya, Udaykumar and Narasimharaju. It was dubbed in seven other languages and is retrospectively identified as amongst the first major Pan-India films.

Sri Krishna Rukmini Satyabhama is a 1971 Kannada-language Hindu mythological film written and directed by K. S. L. Swamy under his home banner Raghunandan movies. The film stars Rajkumar, B. Saroja Devi, Aarathi and Bharathi. The music was composed by R. Sudarshanam.

The movie is about a reporter who concocts a false case so as to get himself convicted for first degree murder so that he can prove that the death sentence can be given based on circumstantial evidence and that it be done away with. However, by the time he is out of the prison proving his innocence, his father is falsely arrested in another murder case and is awarded a death penalty!

It also featured the first screen appearances of future actors and Rajkumar's sons, Shiva Rajkumar and Raghavendra Rajkumar. The movie was dubbed in Tamil as Ezhumalaiyan Dharisanam and in Telugu as Sri Tirupatikshetra Mahatyam (1977).

Shivarathri Mahathme is a 1964 Indian Kannada-language film directed by P. R. Kaundinya. The film stars Rajkumar, Leelavathi and K. S. Ashwath. The movie was dubbed in Telugu in 1965 as Shivarathri Mahatyam.

Kanyarathna is a 1963 Indian Kannada language film directed by J. D. Thotan in his directorial debut. It stars Dr. Rajkumar and Leelavathi. The supporting cast features Rajashankar, Balakrishna, Dikki Madhava Rao, Rathnakar and Sowcar Janaki.

Bala Nagamma is a 1966 Indian Kannada-language film, directed by P. R. Kaundinya and produced by Vikram Srinivas. The film stars Rajkumar, Udaykumar, Narasimharaju and Master Babu. The film has musical score by S. Rajeshwara Rao. The movie is based on one of the popular stories of the traditional folklore Burra katha.

This story is based on the epic of Mahabharatha.
