A production of Shakespeare's "As You Like It" filmed for television. After the overthrowing of the old duke by his tyrannical brother, the duke's daughter Rosalind disguises herself as a man and sets out to find her banished father while also counselling her clumsy suitor Orlando in the art of wooing.

Gerd Andersson and Ellen Rasch are both prima ballerinas who now look back on their rich dance lives and their collaborations with various choreographers.

Gerda runs a farm in the shadow of a nuclear power plant. She has just been widowed. For the first time in 15 years, her sister Marie comes to visit. Much is unsaid between them, and dark memories emerge as the hours pass.
