In Haesung's house, his wife Soojeong congratulates Haesung for having his book published. In the bathroom, baby Minho is playing inside a baby bathtub. Haesung hears a weird sound and runs into Minho's room. The sound of a splash gets louder which stops with a scream of Soojeong. Startled, Haesung opens the door to find Soojeong who is holding Minho, soaked with water and, covered in a blanket. She says there's been an accident.

One day, he notices Eun-oh lingering around him, the very girl who delivers his pills. De-on discovers that Eun-oh and three other kids live in an abandoned building, spending their days packaging and delivering narcotics. De-on gets to join their illicit operation. High school student Cho-eun sees the light at the hideout when she was with her friend On. Her stomach starts to swell with an unknown sound, and Cho-eun shows abnormal symptoms. The doctor tells Cho-eun that she is pregnant. Cho-eun sets out to find On, who has disappeared. Cho-eun is chased by a man who tells her that she must go to give birth to God's child at the hideout where On told her to wait. She escapes with Ji-soo's help, but soon Ji-soo takes out a knife and tells him that she must kill the monster in his stomach.
