Hryhorii Miestechkin

A group of peasant farmers in turn-of-the-century Ukraine leaves home in search of better luck in Siberia. The story follows those who stay behind and their dispute with the landowner, as well as a love triangle involving a local beauty and two young men.

The love story of the beautiful Danko and the forester Anton, their struggle for their love and for the old grove – the beauty and pride of the Carpathian village, where the sound of axes is heard more and more often.

The documentary tells about the ancient tradition of mosaic art in the architectural design of cities.

The film is about the work of an amateur artist from the village Bolotnya, Ivankiv district, Kyiv region, Fedir Prymachenko, the son of the artist Maria Prymachenko. The artist's works from the series "Man on Earth" are demonstrated.
