Ze, a 17-year-old, studies hard at school to succeed in the cold, callous society of modern Mongolia. When Ze encounters Maralaa, his senses are awakened and another reality seems possible.

Orgil lives with his elderly father and two children. Their family lives peacefully, but his father suffers from Alzheimer's disease. Orgil gives his father wartime items, such as an overcoat, a whistle, and a painting, hoping that they will help him regain his sanity. When the old man blows the bloody whistle among them, unexplained and terrifying events begin in Orgil's life.
