Facundo witnesses a terrible scene of violence from his father towards his mother. The next day, she disappears. Facundo must be working all morning with his father in the field, knowing that he is to blame for his mother's disappearance.

It tells the life and work of a rebel priest in a town called Felicia, Santa Fe. He manages to build a church and a school in which he buries a letter intended for the generations of the year 2000. His constant conflict with the Santa Fe curia leads to his exile during the military coup.

After seven years, Laura returns to her hometown due to the death of her father. As the days pass, his death becomes uncertain. She also discovers betrayals and hidden truths that force her to leave.
