Takarazuka Moon Troupe 1996 production of the Broadway musical Can-Can, with associated revue show Nightless Castle in Manhattan. In 1893 Paris, La Môme Pistache, the proud owner of a Montmartre dance hall, battles with Aristide Forestiere, a self-righteous judge determined to close all establishments featuring the scandalous can-can.

Gerard is a playboy novelist in New York, living off of his father and friends' money because none of his novels sell. He's a confirmed bachelor. One day, he gets a letter from his father in Monaco. His father is a very successful hotel owner, and the letter basically states that Gerard is to come home, buckle down and learn the business, and marry a woman of his father's choosing.

It's the winter of 1937, in Memphis, Tennessee. A dispute unfolds between the Delivery family and the Antonioni family. The boss of the Delivery family, Dave, is shot and killed, and secretly sunk into a water fountain. At about that time, a Christmas show is being rehearsed at St. Michaels Church. The leader is Frank Fellow, a devout Christian. He is a steady elementary school teacher, but along with his friend Alfat, has always dreamed of standing on a Broadway stage. At that moment, a large earthquake strikes unexpectedly. When he regains consciousness, Frank is riding the train bound for heaven, with only his harmonica in his hand.
