Smoke Sauna Sisterhood

Three Estonian and German couples explore polyamory, confronting ego, desire, and insecurity while redefining love. Guided by mentors, psychologists, shamans, and dancers, they navigate years of sexual freedom and emotional struggle under filmmaker Eva Kübar’s patient lens. After a decade together, Riita and Taavi open their relationship and join a camp where unconventional practices test their limits. Marianne and Sven attempt to save their marriage for their children, though Marianne’s bond with her lover Kay complicates her promise to stay faithful. For Kay’s wife Beate, Marianne’s presence becomes both a threat and an opportunity for growth.
My Partners

Follows photographer and artist Peeter Laurits - a kind of trickster or shaman who moves along the border between different worlds and realities. He brings messages from the realms of art, science, mythology, esotericism and ecology, building highways from the level of moss and bark beetles all the way to the cosmic spheres. The film is set in Kütiorg, a sacred forested valley that is at once a studio and a strangely displaced mystical landscape, where past, present and imagination coexist. Kütiorg becomes the film’s central metaphor: a seemingly small place whose invisible trajectories and darker winding paths open new ways of perceiving a world in perpetual collapse, drawing both the viewer and the protagonist deeper into its depths.
Descent into the Valley

Sundial takes us on a journey through the mists of the Estonian countryside. In each house whose door Liis Nimik opens, live people who have chosen to carve their existence at the fringes of modernity. Far from our tumultuous world, the rhythm of life is tranquil and peaceful. Here, humans seem to have found their place, living in harmony with nature.

The Shadow of Dawn

Until the restoration of independence of Estonia in 1991, a collective farm operated in the village of Pähkla in Saaremaa, which employed almost all the villagers. Lembri Uudu also worked there as a tractor driver. After the collapse of the collective farm, most of the villagers lost their jobs and Uudu died. Sometimes, however, it happens that a person's real life force comes out only after his death.
Lembri Uudu

This is the story of three different generations of Siberian Estonian women whose ancestors were deported from Estonia as criminals in the 19th century. Instead of prison, however, they ended up in paradise - a fertile land where people quickly built their lives. 170 years later, the situation has reversed: who has already "got used to life here", but for whom, on the eve of the war, it is the last time to return to paradise, which on this occasion is Estonia.
