Biography
Harry Larter (born February 20th, 2002), is an English Screenwriter and Director. Most notably, the writer of the recently released BAFP Short Film, 'Eventide'. Larter also wrote and directed the short films 'Compromised' (2026), 'Presence' (2025) and 'Reminder' (2024). He studied Film Production at the University of Portsmouth between 2021 and 2024. He has also worked as the First Assistant Director on the Christmas themed film 'Tinsel' (2023) directed by Davey Fox Ezra, and the short comedy film 'Daylight' (2023) directed by Alfie Sadler. As well as also working as other roles, such as Script Supervisor on the set of 'Eventide' and also helping to produce several productions. Larter has been an avid lover of film and television all of his life, and has always loved writing; having written shorts, features and stories since he was a child, as well as an attempt at writing a full novel back in 2016 / 2017, which he later adapted into his first short film, titled 'Time Virus' in 2021. His writing style tends to be grounded, focussing on hard hitting, gritty and emotional themes, however he has written other genres such as action, comedy and superhero. He also has a short background in acting, having studied drama in school and acted in several projects.
