Biography
Wendell Laurent is the writer, co-producer and lead actor in the multi-award-winning short Daybreak, a spy-thriller that pays homage to classic screwball comedies but with a contemporary twist. He is originally from New Orleans and a graduate of Loyola University. Active in the New York theatre scene since 1990, Wendell produced four Off-Off-Broad-way shows as the Producing Director of Reckless Theatre Company. In the last five years, he has acted in over 20 film and TV productions, including starring roles in the award-winning An Extraordinary Affair and the upcoming feature Walter's Wish.
