Biography
Berenice Sánchez Moreno (Mexico, 2001) is a director and cinematographer trained at the National School of Cinematographic Arts (ENAC–UNAM), and completed an academic exchange at the University of Essex (United Kingdom). As a cinematographer, her work has been selected at over 50 international film festivals and has received awards for Best Cinematography. In 2023, she was chosen to represent ENAC at the BJX Lab Kinoroom, and in 2026 she will participate in the Academia Industria Program at the Guadalajara International Film Festival (FICG). As a director, she explores identity and mental health through drama and fantasy. Her debut short film, You, the Face of My Reflection, forthcoming, addresses depression within the context of academic pressure in artistic training. She is currently developing her graduation short film

Cristian comes back to his house because he forgot his work badge. At home, he finds Fernanda, his wife, having sex with somebody else. Cristian does not dare to deal with the situation, so he wanders around the city to avoid the event and decide what to do about it.
Self-Complacency
Everything is political, even something as insignificant as a bathroom. The struggle to occupy spaces represents the struggle to reaffirm one's very existence. This is why we explore why the creation of gender-neutral bathrooms in the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters is so important in a country that leads in hate crimes against the LGBTQ+ community.
Genderless
Marcos, an adult who as a child lost his beloved pet, a black German shepherd dog, with whom he had a special bond. This bond leads him to search for it over time until he believes he has found it in a park with another owner.
