Zaria is a Caribbean-American actor and filmmaker born and based in New York City. A perpetual crier at the movies, she is moved by the collaborative effort of filmmaking above all else. This appreciation and desire for connection pours over into her work, where her subjects often uncover the nuances of their interpersonal relationships. Through her grounded approach and use of the personal archive, Zaria is better able to understand her culture, the preciousness of human relationships, and the world around her.
