Biography
Edward Brence is an actor originally from Maryland. He received his training at the Actors Studio Drama School where he earned an M.F.A. in Acting. Edward has since gone on to appear in several roles both on onstage and in front of the camera. Most recently, he has portrayed Jasper in season one of the Apple TV+ show Severance (2022), DJ Stretch Armstrong in season two of Hulu's Wu-Tang: An American Saga (2019), and Thief in season one of the Paramount+ show Lioness (2023). While at the Actors Studio Drama School, home of the acclaimed Inside the Actors Studio, Edward has had the privilege of attending master classes hosted by James Lipton, Cuba Gooding Jr., Jessica Chastain, HBO's cast of Girls, Viola Davis, Scarlett Johansson, Kristen Wiig, Ted Danson, Bradley Cooper, Alec Baldwin, Jane Lynch, David Oyelowo, Henry Winkler, Pedro Pascal, Willem Dafoe, James Burrows, Kelsey Grammer, Ellen Burstyn, and Al Pacino.
