Directing
Renata is a young peasant girl from Brazil at the end of the 19th century. She lives with Salomon, the evangelical pastor of the village, and two pregnant women. Salomon performs an exorcism in which he ends up killing a GuaranĂ man who supposedly invaded his lands. After the event, Renata wbegins to receive different demonic signs that put her faith and her surroundings to the test.
With the arrival of a fumigator at a rural nursing home, the young nurse Flavia will live strange nightmares that intertwine the attraction the man arouses in her and the warnings made by Norma, a veteran nurse who in turn is obsessed with caring for an old man who suffers from Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis.
