Michael Daniel Penn (born August 1, 1958) is an American musician, singer, composer, and occasional actor. Perhaps best known for his Top 40 hit single "No Myth", released in November 1989 - and featured in Amy Heckerling's 2000 romantic comedy Loser - Penn has primarily worked as a film composer. He has married to fellow 80's hitmaker Aimee Mann, of the band 'Til Tuesday.
