Biography
Yuri Semashko is a self-taught director/screenwriter from Minsk (Belarus). In 2023, his short film "Garbage Head" was selected for the International Short Film Festival Oberhausen. The world premiere of his first feature film "The Swan Song of Fedor Ozerov" took place at the Berlinale 2025. The film won the "Tagesspiegel" Readers' Jury Award.
