Kai and Maris are a young couple living in Slovenia in the year 2030. All over the world, the state of war is becoming more and more alarming. In Slovenia, however, a totalitarian regime rules, which does not allow the individual any freedom. The story takes place at night when they try to escape. Will they make it? Are we really free?

In the cold atmosphere of a police station, a young couple, Lukas and Anja, endure critical hours after a violent incident in a nightclub where Lukas severely injured another man. Interrogations with a detective reveal the truth about their involvement and stories while they face the consequences of their relationship and moral dilemmas.

Miha Curman, known as Curi, is a man who found himself living in the streets. Despite these unfortunate circumstances, he strives to get off the streets for good.

Nikola spends the summer caught between the violence of the streets and the fragility of his broken home, where he must parent his own mother. He struggles to find a place where he does not feel completely alone.
