Biography
Valentina Porter (2002, Buenos Aires, Argentina). Studies filmmaking at ENERC university, where she had the opportunity to direct short films such as "El Lugar de los Peces" (2021), "Los Propios Fuegos" (2022) and "Fantasma Oculto" (2023).

A project about the architectural, cultural, and social heritage of the city of Buenos Aires. An investigation about the enigmatic "Casa del Angel", a castle that used to belong to Dr. Carlos Delcasse, and the winged figure in one of its balconies that attracted the attention of all the neighbors: the sculpture of an Angel, which disappeared after the demolition of the house.

El Lugar de los Peces
In an empty theater, the rehearsal of the play starring Julio, a young and popular actor, is interrupted by Marcelo, the old man who plays alongside him. The rehearsals turn into a nightmare, as he is overcome with rage and confusion.
Fantasma Oculto
Angie attends a session of Shibari, and it awakens within her feelings of pain, pleasure, calm and relief. The world of Shibari motivates Angie to let go of the routine of the city, and to dare go on a journey to that place of reflection she longs to find, beyond the ropes and the bindings.
