Milla Rovere
Directing
Biography
A Victorian College of the Arts Film and Television graduate, Milla is an emerging filmmaker interested in stories of desperate characters scratching for moments of closeness with the world. Her films explore the gaps between people and the tragic irony befalling their attempts to remedy this chronic aloneness. Honest, gentle and quick-witted, Milla’s films tiptoe the dark comedy/drama scope, with a special interest in exploring selfish and lonely female protagonists through a tender lens.
