Takarazuka Cosmos Troupe 2023 production based on the novel by Ian Flemming. It’s 1968 and the world is in the grip of the Cold War centered on the United States and the Soviet Union. In Paris, anti-establishment protests known as “May 1968” break out, mainly among students and workers. After they are suppressed, the radicals merge into an underground organization that calls itself “The Red Army League.” At MI6, the pinnacle of British Secret Intelligence Service, secret agent James Bond, code name “007,” receives an order to neutralize a Soviet spy known as Le Chiffre. Bond’s mission is to use his gambling skills to beat him and cut off his source of funds, and then to take him alive and force him to divulge any information he possesses.

A revue-style production looking back on 20 years of Cosmos Troupe through their famous songs and memorable scenes, and connecting these to their brilliant future. HiGH&LOW －THE PREQUEL－ centers the past, where a legendary gang called Mugen ruled the area. Mugen had controlled the entire area with its overwhelming power until it suddenly disbanded. That led to the transformation of the well-controlled area by Mugen into a lawless one, but on the other hand, it opened a new chapter of five emerging gangs that took control of the area on their separate territory. Each of these five gangs fights to protect what they value respectively. Taken from the initial of the five gangs, the area came to be known as the SWORD area. This is the story of the end of one summer, on the eve of the SWORD’s formation. Capricciosa is revue that follows the vagabond Capricciosa on his adventures that take him to various locations in Italy. Kanade Suzaku, a student at Royal Phoenix High School, is the heir to the Suzaku Group, a corporation estimated at a worth of several trillion yen. Kanade’s late mother raised him to be intellectual and have an aristocratic nature, the perfect “prince.” Among his peers Kanade is known as the “Celebrity Prince,” adored by members of his entourage Seiichiro Kuon and Gen Kaburagi and many other students. One day, Kanade sets out to check on Kanon Naruse at the request of his father, Toshiya Suzaku, who lives in New York. Kanon is the daughter of Toshiya’s first love, left behind after the death of her mother. She has been saddled with the debts of her own father, working at part-time jobs to make a living. Kanade goes looking for her at St. Brilliant High School, where Kanon is a student. He sees in her the spirit of his own mother, the embodiment of a princess for a prince to love.
