Biography
Jack McDonald is a 22-year-old writer/director who's most known for his debut short film Call of the Void. This film was created as his senior thesis film and is currently making a festival run in 2023. Born in Boston, Massachusettes, and raised in Dallas, Texas he discovered his love for filmmaking and began directing projects at the age of 16. He went on to win many youth filmmaking awards in high school and continued his education at the University of Oklahoma where he worked for Oklahoma Head Coach Lincoln Riley as a content creator. While in university he worked with brands such as Instagram, the NFL, and directed music videos for artists featured in VEVO, MTV, Live Nation's Ones to Watch, and TIDAL.
