Speak To Me Of What I Know is a short experimental film shot on a Super8. The idea of lack of communication is expressed through an intimate relationship, more specifically the men of the film. The themes of miscommunication develop throughout the film in many ways, even the slightest details are there with the explicit goal of adding to the main message. On the last day of classes in Montreal, Joey borrows his sister's car with plans to pick up his friend Sam after an exam. When Sam convinces him to invite his crush, Kacie, to a concert, the night quickly spirals out of control. A stolen car, awkward encounters, and missed opportunities test Joey's confidence, while Sam's schemes both complicate and save the day. As the night ends, Joey is left reflecting on friendship, disappointment, and the unpredictability of growing up.
