Biography
Fanar Zak, a Canadian actress born in Jordan, is known for her performance as Lauren on CBC Gem's "Near or Far." Fanar began acting in 2022, working on student films and various productions such as Eli Roth's slasher film, "Be Mine," and CBC Gem's "One More Time." Fanar's performance on "Near or Far" landed her a best actor nomination in TO Webfest and MT Queer in Brazil. Before pursuing acting, Fanar obtained an Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto. She signed with Ritter Talent Agency shortly after graduating and has since hit numerous milestones in her professional career.
