A series in separate continuous episodes, in each episode a famous tale of miserliness is told in Al-Jahiz's book The Miser. The roles were performed by a large group of art stars in Lebanon.

A historical comedy series produced in 1985, it deals in a humorous format with the stories and jokes of the famous Abbasid poet Abu Dalama, who was known for his intelligence, quick wit, and unique relationship with the caliphs of the Bani al-Abbas.

Two sworn friends, who commit fraud against women and compete in hunting victims of wealthy women, decide to cooperate after one of them threatens the other to expose his plays, and they stay in a luxury hotel, in order to cast nets on a beautiful millionaire girl.

Adel works in one of the government institutions, he suffers from emotional trauma after knowing that his girlfriend is a night girl, friends seek to paralyze Adel, including a light friend. Adel gets to know Nazek, the manager's wife of the company, a woman who is in trouble with her old husband, and asks her to separate from her husband.

The head of the (Zahlawi) family dies and leaves a will for his family living in Lebanon to distribute his wealth. His leftover wealth is estimated at one million liras. In it, the (Zahlawi) family recommends that the estate not be distributed except under the supervision of (Shoushou). After the estate is distributed to the heirs, their morals become corrupt and they indulge in vice.

Samia is in a relationship with the frivolous young man, Mamdouh, and slips up with him one day when she gets into his car. When she asks him to marry her, he evades her and travels abroad. Her attempt at suicide fails, but Ahmed saves her and welcomes her into his family. Later, Samia gives birth to her and Mamdouh's child.
