Arsène Lupin is extremely popular among the population, because he allows the needy to share in his acquired wealth. Before entering the service of the German Emperor Wilhelm II, he removes his vault in Alsace, steals two paintings of old masters, steals valuable gems and calls out to the police prefect to avoid his arrest. But this time he risks being seriously recognized. Lupin must once again use his fine intellect to deftly escape the situation.

The aunt of Alfred Puc, a meek tax-collector in Paris, dies while riding in a moving van. In his search, he gets caught up in an underworld web and finds the body of a murdered gangster in his room. He finally locates the cupboard but promptly loses it again. But, wait, it isn't "finis' time, yet.

Auguste is about an eponymous bank clerk who finds fame and fortune. Auguste happens to be in the right place at the right time to save young starlet Francine from killing herself -- or more accurately, pretending to kill herself. His supposed heroism hits the news, and before Auguste knows what is happening, a Machiavellian publicist is using him for his own ends. The bank clerk is no fool and soon thinks of a way to come out on top.

Gaston is in love with Brigitte, daughter of the Baroness, who claims to have a lover. Gaston sets off for Paris, with 300,000 francs borrowed from the Baroness, to find his rival. He is robbed and forced to work in cabarets, where his father, his fiancée and the Baroness, not to mention the Curé, come looking for him. All ends well.

At the end of the Great War, Arsène Lupin resumed his adventurous life. Theft of three paintings committed by an adversary leads him to the treasure of the Golden Fleece.

France, July 1782. During her birthday, the beautiful young Marchioness Caroline meets the attractive soldier Gaston.
