Set in old Jeddah during the final years of the Ottoman era, this Saudi period drama follows two brothers raised in the same neighbourhood who take opposite paths in life — one falls into gang life and criminality, the other chooses righteousness and virtue. Rooted in Hijazi folk tradition, the show paints a vivid picture of community, honour, and moral struggle in a bygone era.
The series revolves around the lives, challenges, and relationships of three sisters of varying ages and their close friend. Set between Damascus, Dubai, and Beirut, it highlights authentic emotional struggles and complex societal issues affecting women in the Arab world.
On June 6, 1996, a group of girls gathered on the day they received their baccalaureate degrees to take a photo. They agreed to meet again a decade later, specifically on June 6, 2006. This is the starting point for the events of the series, as each of its separate episodes we live the story of each girl, and we see what time has done to her.
