Ramana Maharshi

Produced by Krishnaswamy associates (p) Ltd in 1982 Drawn from his home by the power of Arunachala, one of India's traditional holy sites, at the age of sixteen, he challenged death by a penetrating enquiry into the source of his being. This 1992 documentary centers in the life of Ramana Maharshi, covering mostly his upbringing and journey to Arunachala Hill. It includes interviews to devotees who by his Grace had a direct experience of the supreme Self.

The "Eternal Light" is a new 58 minute video chronicling the life of Bhagavan Sri Ramana Maharshi from His birth in 1879 to His mahasamadhi in April 1950. In addition to new video and photographs, this film contains high-quality footage from the film archive and many rare photographs of Bhagavan and the early ashram. Created in 2003, this is the first video produced entirely by Sri Ramanasramam in Tiruvannamalai, India. Both devotees and those for whom this is the first introduction to Bhagavan Sri Ramana Maharshi will not be disappointed by this simple but moving story of one of the greatest sages mankind has ever known.
