Film produced by the Grupo Cine Testimonio that brings together short film works from the period 1983-1985. It includes the shorts The Nose, Not So White, Not So Indian, For Our Land, and La Cruz Gil.
An audiovisual essay celebrating the land and people of Cusco, Peru. Based on the poems of José María Arguedas and various testimonies, such as those of Huamán Poma in ancient Quechua and the peasant and union leader Saturnino Huilka in Cusco Quechua, the film pays homage to the Cusco peasantry, heirs to the Tupac Amaru rebellion that propelled the cause of American emancipation.
