A woman and a crowd of men inhabit a gloomy building. One day at the top of the huge staircase a caw is heard.

It is the middle of August in an apartment in the Roman suburbs. Tommaso is a teenager and is subjected to the teasing of his older brother Leonardo, who calls him "Pelorosso" because of his coppery hair. If he wants his brother to stop teasing him, Tommaso will have to cut his hair.

Gabriel and Xavier spend their afternoons playing, wandering the countryside, and exploring abandoned places. All seems peaceful, but a feeling is tormenting Gabriel. Is it love or religion ?
