By chance, on Christmas Eve, completely different passengers with their own problems and dreams board the same train, and now they all have to arrange Christmas dinner right in the dining car. While waiting for the first star, all the passengers come together as one big Ukrainian family. And miracles begin to happen.

Marta, an ordinary girl from an orphanage, has no parents and above all dreams of a family. She is convinced that she lacks something to be adopted by her parents. Due to certain circumstances, the girl finds herself in the world of fantastic Christmas spirits who promise to give her the necessary qualities and make her dream come true.

Yesterday's serviceman Serhii stepping into the new life of a civilian that morning had already lost pace by lunchtime. The transition no longer seems like a walk to him, the day is coming to an end, but a new life still does not begin.
