Marianne, a young cellist discovers that her father had a mistress who is still alive. Her journey to find this mysterious woman takes her to places and people from her childhood that she thought she'd left behind forever.
In a suburb of Paris, Kenza, an introverted and secretive teenager, takes part in the rap workshop of Oréade, a young lesbian rapper whom she admires and whose friends make fun of her. Blocked by her shyness, she gradually reveals her talent as a rapper and awakens her desires through contact with Oréade.
Escaping a religious community, receiving mixed messages from a much younger call girl, a one night stand that breeds results and a frantic wait for a baby on the way. What connects these uplifting stories is the all too human desire to embrace the future when the present is in doubt.
