In the future world, environmental degradation has greatly affected everyone. Most people have to upload their consciousness to live in a data-constructed world called the New World, while some people remain outside to maintain the operation of it. A 16-year-old boy Cheng Qi has lived with his father since his parents divorced. After his father entered the New World, he set off on a journey to find his mother. Along the way, after experiencing all kinds of adventures, Cheng Qi becomes even more confused about what kind of life he truly wants for his future.

As an organism, space is also the physical evidence of experience. Man is the subject and object of experience. When we build, we are inspired by the passion of the march; When we discard, we turn back and ignore the decaying scene. Does the abandonment of space also reflect a certain abandonment and betrayal of experience, a desire to reset, or is it abandonment and betrayal of ourselves?

Ou Xiang, 14, lives a tumultuous life amidst the complexities of her family dynamics. Her parents, Jun and Qin, constantly argue, casting a shadow over her formative years. When Ou Xiang is forced to attend a dinner with her father's business associate, Mr. Song, she experiences firsthand the hypocrisy and superficiality of adult relationships. As she tries to understand her parents' arguments and their pretense in public, she becomes aware of the complexities of their relationship and societal expectations of men and women. As Ou Xiang explores her own desires and identity, she starts to resist the limitations imposed on her in unexpected ways and seeks to find her own voice. Inevitably, there are no winners in this protest within her family.
