Aathimoolam ,a politician, battles rival Chanakya, guided by his ambitious son Pallavan. Pallavan befriends Alexander, his half-brother, in a comical clash of school politics leading to national politics.

The story revolves around a trial of a girl's gruesome murder case, the clandestine consequence of which is the notorious drug trafficking scandal and its cover-up. The trial gets over and the verdict of the court in this significant case is also out but in favour of those who indulged in this heinous crime.The acquitted conspirators were about to celebrate their victory.
