A historical epic about the battle of Qadiseya, which was helmed by the Arabian knight Saad Ibn Abi Waqas, and which enabled Muslims from conquering Persia in 636 A.D.
In 1568, Saadi prince Abdelmalek is exiled from Morocco by his brothers, an event that is only the beginning of his adventures: fighting the Spanish Inquisition, taking part in the Battle of Lepanto, being incarcerated in Alicante prison, and assist in the Conquest of Tunis. Eventually, he returns to Morocco to fulfill his destiny.
"Saïda" escapes her family in search of a better life and improved social circumstances. In pursuit of her dream of fame and artistic success, she becomes involved with "Nour," the owner of a nightclub who exploits her by making her perform for the club's customers. Despite her attempts to distance herself, her family and brothers—who lead lives of deviance—continue to relentlessly pursue and extort her. In an effort to exact revenge on Nour, Saïda teams up with her friend "Maryam," who works at the office of the famous lawyer "Omar." Together, they become embroiled in a crime that dramatically shifts the balance of power and consequences for everyone involved.
Under Pharaoh Amemphis III's reign, the most powerful in the kingdom, as vizier Burkis and a fanatic and xenophobic priest, will try to overthrow the Pharaoh. They will even murder the crown prince, Aker. But his twin brother will find a way to foil those fanatical plans.
The movie deals with the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan and the struggle of the Afghan people against them, through the story of an Afghan girl, a university professor and a religious scholar before the deterioration of the situation in Afghanistan.
