A group of teenagers go on an excursion to Halloway Haven, a beautiful cabin bordering Crystal Lake. The unassuming cast of characters become yet another group to get picked off one at a time by the legendary Jason Voorhees.
When Jimmy, a young man, drives past a hitchhiker on the side of the road, his conscience gets the better of him and he decides to turn around. But after picking up the hitchhiker, his worst nightmare becomes a reality. When the hitchhiker holds him at knifepoint, Jimmy manages to fend him off, but his nightmare is far from over.
Paths collide in the desolate south of Texas which lay home to a family of psychotic brothers.
A group of friends dare each other to find the cabin he calls home...
