Scarlet Tummers

Peter is a cheerful -- but not very obedient -- boy from a very ordinary family in pre-war Rotterdam. His many pranks amuse some and cause a lot of trouble to others, even making the front pages of the big city newspapers. His growing popularity brings him many new friends, but also some very powerful enemies.

Hugues has just left Paris, where he was a film critic, to settle in the Bauges mountains. With an inheritance, he bought a small house which he is now renovating. The repairs are off to a difficult start. Camille, an actress he recently met, comes to visit him.

Camille, a promising young actress, is in Antwerp as she's being considered for the lead role in the new film by JBU, a famous Belgian director. But Hugues, her ex, a film critic, is working out of heartbreak to destroy the young woman's career in hateful articles. She invites him to join her in Belgium to talk things out.

During a failed weekend in Amsterdam, William, alone in life, starts to crack under the gaze of his son Walter. Will love, with the help of a tour guide, manage to bridge the gap between the two men?
