Upon learning that his days are numbered, a man and an old friend return to an old house that connects them by a dark secret. Along with three women and a mysterious old man, the group journeys into a horrifying abyss of debauchery and moral mayhem, leading to a fatal turn of events, during which the darkest human depths are revealed.

A Sunday walk through the late summer landscape leads not only to a small lake, but also to the abyss of human existence. Dominance and oppression, superiority and humiliation serve for an alleged "incarnation".

On a trip to the Aegean, Maria D., who lives withdrawn and is shy of people, is confronted with the impressions of an archaic culture. Fascinated by the morbidity and religiosity of the people living on a Cycladic island, she decides to put an end to her loneliness.

A seemingly innocent and pleasant yachting cruise under the sun will entice a young prostitute to a dreamy vacation, however, before the end of the day, she will run for her life, hoping to wake up from a demented nightmare.
