Based on the novels by Colombian writer Mario Mendoza and on the character of detective Frank Molina, the filming of Los Initiados took place in Bogotá. Julio, a blind coffee vendor, recounts his relationship with Daniel, a 9-year-old boy whom he rescued from a life in the streets and raised as his own. After an unfortunate encounter with a social services worker, Julio will have to fight to protect Daniel and keep their relationship strong.

Margarita seeks freedom in a place that judges those outside the norm when her path crosses with Liana’s, a deaf tourist, between the vibrations of congas and bongos.
