The film revolves around Magda, who lives under extremely difficult social conditions and tries in vain to obtain an honest source of livelihood. She ends up pickpocketing on public transportation, and from there she picks up the lawyer Alaa with his knowledge. He searches for her everywhere out of his extreme love for her and his sympathy for her condition and case, with the help of his brother who works in the prosecution service.

Ahmed Zaki plays a peasant, Mountasir, who gets involved in a criminal racket run by his friend Midhat. Mountasir is betrayed by Midhat and goes to jail. Upon discovering that his wife was forced into prostitution by Midhat, he swears to extract revenge when he leaves jail.

The story revolves around a family of several men and their wives who were living a happy happy life, until the doorbell rang one night to find a baby left behind behind the door and accompanied by a letter indicating that the child's father is from this family without identification, which raised the suspicions of the wives in their husbands.

Sahar loves singing and wishes to meet the great singer Wahid to hear her voice. She sets a date to meet him. At the meantime, Ramadan who owns a Gas station,loves to compose and also wants to meet Wahid. When Sahar's car breaks down, she meets the mechanic Fouad and they like each other.

A mother loses her daughter Mervat, years later she publishes her picture in the papers with a reward for those who find her. The photographer Mohsen convinces Fifi the pickpocket to impersonate Mervat because of the big resemblance between them.

The Pasha mocks the farmers and workers of his estate, who suffer from his greed and are incited against him by Amin, who lives in the coal-burning district. Later, Amin's father is killed by unknown persons. At the same time, Loza, Amin's fiancée, is looking forward to getting rich; therefore, she surrenders to the Pasha, who refuses to marry her and delays giving her any part of his property. The Pasha fabricates a charge of possessing counterfeit currency against Amin, who flees and discovers that the Pasha is behind his father's murder and the charge attributed to him. He is also surprised by Loza's relationship with the Pasha, so he decides to take revenge.
