A young actor's family is starring in a film about the "beautiful life". But the shooting is over, and we have to return to the bleak reality.

Lica, a woman with sight problems, gets a job at a company that makes paper flowers. After the sudden death of her father, she has to look after her brother and sister. However, soon after the funeral, her stepmother kicks the children out and Lica decides to live temporarily in her dead grandmother's house.
