Picture a life in a box measuring just six square metres, without daylight or contact to fellow members of the species. For years forty chimpanzees from Sierra Leone were used illegally in experiments aimed at developing Aids and hepatitis vaccines. After fifteen years, the Austrian pharmaceutical company Immuno abandon these tests as inconclusive, and a resocialisation project for these infected primates begins.

A short educational story for children.

The film is about one thing: manners. The film revolves around the methods of the nuclear power industry, demonstrating the vocabulary of the operators, the linguistic tools of the power plant directors, the empty phrases of the public relations officers, and the lies of the politicians.

A strange green cloud has turned almost the entire human race into stone. The only survivors are eight children, their intrepid teacher Birnenstiel and his friend, a jolly millionaire, who by chance all happen to be in an airship above the green cloud at the time. Against this background Birnenstiel tells a bizarre adventure story in which he and the children are heroes. With loving and pointed irony he confronts his protagonists with deep-frozen beauty queens, gene-manipulated tomatoes, extraterrestrial maniacs, aggressive goldfish and last but not least the rampant mechanics of an abandoned civilisation which claims its victims one by one. When the narrator goes too far, the children take the story into their own hands...

In BLUE-EYED, we join a group of 40 teachers, police, school administrators and social workers in Kansas City - blacks, Hispanics, whites, women and men. The blue-eyed members are subjected to pseudo-scientific explanations of their inferiority, culturally biased IQ tests and blatant discrimination. In just a few hours under Ms. Elliott's withering regime, we watch grown professionals become despondent and distracted, stumbling over the simplest commands.

Documentary about the planning of, and resistance to, the nuclear reprocessing plant in Wackersdorf (Upper Palatinate). The resistance of the local population and many activists ultimately prevented the construction of this project. During the demonstrations, conditions at times resembled civil war in the area around the construction site.

The Bavarian Ministry for the Environment announces a hearing to discuss the final seal of approval for the Building of a nuclear power plant. 881000 people who have protested in writing against the building of this plant are "to be heard". The film documents the way in which, during this show of democracy, the last thread of genuine democracy is systematically debilitated and with it, the last remaining risk which could thwart the plans of the pro-atomic lobby.
