Lonely Oaks
When the filmmaker obtains a mobilization video from a mysterious witches' coven, she embarks on a quest driven by her own longing for feminist solidarity. The trail of witches leads her from tourist shops to churches, from TikTok to the seaside. The film "The Witches' Syndicate" thus becomes a mystical-magical journey and, at the same time, a personal, sometimes comically absurd, search for meaning. In doing so, she creates an image of the witch as a place of longing and an invitation to contemplate political injustices and to combat them with unconventional and playful means.
