Biography
Pedro González is a Mexican comedian, musician, animator and sound designer who has worked in some of the most relevant Latin-American films of the past two decades. "Güeros", "Semana Santa", "Voy a Explotar" and "Edén" are some of the feature films where his work as a musician and sound designer stands out. Zulu has also directed and produced various multi-awarded animated short films as well as an experimental feature ("Se me Hizo Fácil"). In 2017, he formed the animation studio, Little Hour Films, with renowned animator and production designer Lauri Faggioni, and visual effects supervisor Javier Velásquez. It specializes in stop-motion and hand-made techniques. He is part of "La Bella Sobriedad", a script-writing co-op that has been helping directors for more than a decade, under the coordination of filmmaker/editor Yibran Asuad. It has supported projects like "Todas las Pecas", "Dramamex", "Semana Santa", and "El Lenguaje de los Machetes", among others. He has also written various scripts for either art-house, or commercial films in collaboration with Asuad, Alejandra Márquez and Eduardo Donjuan.
