Biography
Leslye Abbey is an award winning international documentary filmmaker, photographer and Social Worker. A New York native, Leslye Abbey has traveled the world creating films that reflect the human spirit. Leslye began to develop a love for photography while living in New Mexico and working as Social Worker with Southwest American Indians. Her passion for photography paved the way for her growth as she launched into videography. You may see previews of her work on You Tube and her web site www.snowflakevideo.com. Leslye has been in private practice as a Clinical Social Worker in North Bellmore, New York since 1986.

Michael Kanarek was born in Pittsburgh in 1946, and participated in “Three Rivers Arts Festival”. After graduating High School, He was accepted to Cooper Union Art College. His work was awarded and recognized many times including a Gold Record Award. His story is told in this original documentary with original interviews by Kanarek, his family, close friends, and associates.
