Biography
Riley Blakeway is an Australian born award winning filmmaker, selected as a 2025 Rising Talent by Inside Film Magazine. His music videos, commercials and shorts have screened at festivals worldwide, including SXSW, the UKMVA’s, the Vimeo Awards, Raindance, Ciclope and The New Orleans Film Festival. Most recently, Riley’s narrative short A Thousand Odd Days premiered in The Best of Australian Shorts at Melbourne Int Film Festival and won Best Direction at both Flickerfest and St Kilda in 2025. Riley’s most recent short INFINIT3 was written for and starring Sophie Wilde will premiere at MIFF this August.
