Tatsumi Yuudai

Asagao (Juri Ueno) is a rookie forensic scientist, who works at a university forensic medicine class in Kanagawa Prefecture. She is a licensed doctor and respected by those around her. Asagao lives with her father Taira (Saburo Tokito), who is a veteran detective. Asago's mother died in the 2011 Tohoku earthquake disaster and her mother’s body was never found. One day, Asagao’s forensic medicine class unexpectedly works with the investigation section of the police department. When a dead body is found, the dead body is transferred to Asagao’s forensic medicine class. Asagao now works with her detective father.

Eguchi Yosuke plays the character of Onishi Katsuo, a 35-year-old carpenter and former college football player who sees life almost in the same balance as a football game (guts and glory along with team spirit). One day he learns that his friend (a college football teammate) was killed when his house burned down. His friend's wife is in a coma and his four kids are now homeless, Eguchi has the children live with him (in his one room apartment) above his bosses home.

Shiga Michinari was a well-respected deputy editor-in-chief of a major publishing company "Shukan Shuncho". However, his reputation and happiness hit the bottom when his son Kensuke was involved in a stalker's murder case and later committed suicide. People around Michinari suddenly became cold to him. He was demoted and abused by the company and reporters. In addition, his daughter Nanami became violent while his beloved wife couldn't handle the pressure and left home. Two immortals and a woman who repeats re-encarnations, are caught in a curse that has over a thousand years. They meet every 100 years. Sosuke doesn’t know who he is but has recurrent dreams about a woman he has met on a beach. A beautiful love story where the past is intertwined with the present and needs closure.
