Comedy, romance, adventure, historical dramas, narrative content by great Portuguese-speaking writers and the vision of ten women directors from different generations and different creative backgrounds who portray a country that, in the last 100 years, finds itself towards freedom.

The world is at war. While Portugal seems like an oasis by the Atlantic, its glamorous casinos and secret hideouts become the stage for a network of daring women spies, trading information that could turn the tide of the conflict.

After her family is accused of regicide, Leonor de Almeida Portugal is imprisoned in a convent for eighteen years. Incarcerated, she becomes "Alcipe" through poetry and finds love and freedom in Carlos Augusto. But her life path is marked by the earthquake of 1755 and since that day, the earth has never stopped shaking. From the end of her luxurious life in Vienna, to her flight from France, to the loss of two children, Alcipe never gives up and always rises from the ashes.

It’s summer, a boy and his friends go to the river. On the ride there, a story is told about a man and his pet snake that tried to eat him. The boy falls from a tree trunk and gets hurt. A girl follows him. A couple kiss each other, another boy explores the woods and a third one just lays by a tree eating a peach. In four chapters, the heat and the humidity of the forest unravel desires among them.

A respectable family falls into crisis when their extensive apple orchard is ruined. Delgado, a wealthy industrialist from the North, has just arrived in the village, apparently with good intentions. Desperate to keep up appearances, the Major and D. Lúcia introduce him to their innocent and eccentric daughter, Cilinha, who is only interested in her singing lessons. They entice him with the prospect of a rich dowry, but they are unaware that Delgado is not quite who he appears to be...

West, end of the summer. Laura works at the pear harvesting, a family business. During the afternoon, Carol arrives at the village to spend a few vacation days with her friends. That night, when Laura catches them stealing pears from one of her father’s orchards, her friend confronts her about her true intent.
